Cory offers lectures and workshops internationally on the topics of fat liberation, disability justice, body politics, and deconstructing and dispelling myths that fatness is a health issue. She especially loves working with college and high school students and enjoys tailing her programming to meet specific needs and audiences. She also is available for consultations and coaching on adapting programming, workplace wellness policies and practices, and creating action plans to address fat bias. Cory also speaks internationally on the topics of transformative justice, disposability, and prison industrial complex abolition and is a trained and skilled facilitator and uses an anti-oppression framework.
In addition to this work, Cory has nearly a decade of experience as a life coach supporting college students. And she has years of experience with training and instructional design. She has train staff and faculty at various universities and colleges nationally as a DEI consultant with a focus on generational poverty, first generation student success, and culturally relevant approaches to college student success.
